I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! My household has been hit with the flu and I am currently still battling it. This round is horrible so I've been in bed resting as much as possible, trying to stay hydrated, and praying this ends soon!

My head has been hurting so bad that I haven't been able to read as much as I had hoped but luckily I read the novel I'm featuring today before I was down. My Review

If you want a narrative that shows what love truly is, then Misgivings is the story for you. Misgivings deals with the struggle of stepping out of God’s plan, trying to do things on your own, and what can happen when true repentance occurs.

Luke is a man with such strength and integrity that it’s hard not to fall in love with him. How he protects those he cares about and stands by his convictions is admirable and something every man should strive to be. Dee was a little more grating but also relatable.

This story took a few turns that I was not expecting. I have to give a trigger warning as there are abuses which are alluded to in a non-graphic manner which could be hard for some to read. Being an abuse survivor myself, it definitely brought back memories I would love to forget, but it also gave me an opportunity to look back and see how far I’ve come in my own personal journey, which I’m very thankful for.

This is truly a touching and inspiring story I believe everyone should hear.
