Just the Basics

♡ I work for a transportation company in the accounting department, which is crazy considering the fact that I hate math. Thanks to COVID I've went part time which is both a blessing and a curse, and you can guess why
♡ I pretty much read anything, but my favorites are pretty eclectic. When it comes to romance I love good, clean romance (anything graphic will make me stop a book immediately), but I also am majorly into forensics and true crime. Go figure, huh? I also read nonfiction, but only if it's a subject that interests me. I am a huge history buff so if it's historical, or based on a true story, you've got my attention.
About My Boys
Dash is my oldest and he is majorly into music. He is a chip off the old block, since I come from a family that is heavily into music, myself included. He is hoping to become a rapper/music producer one day, and is already writing his own songs, and has even recorded a few samples. He is currently working on several songs that he hopes to drop on iTunes and Spotify soon, and is working with a local producer to help him find his voice.
DJ is my youngest and is a hardcore gamer. He has his own channel on Twitch and you can find his highlights on YouTube. He is hoping to become a professional gamer, and has already entered several local tournaments. He is also my special needs baby, struggling with Asperger's as well as type 1 diabetes, but he doesn't let his hindrances stop him from giving life his all.
I have nothing but high hopes for my boys, and cannot wait to see what their futures hold.
Random Tidbits

♡ I am a diehard Dallas★Cowboys fan, which has brought my life a lot of pain lately, but I back my boys
♡ Me and my husband are currently restoring a 1960 Ford Falcon that belonged to my grandfather, and was my dad's childhood car, in hopes that he can ride in it one more time before he dies
♡ I always dreamed of being a mechanic, and building/restoring a 1968 Ford Mustang fastback. This is our next project after the Falcon is finished :)

♡ I have an obsession with all things teal
♡ I love any and all music! If you saw my playlist on Apple Music you'd die. Smooth jazz to headbanger, gangsta rap to Christian praise and worship...I love it all!!
♡ I have played the flute since I was 11, and actually got a music scholarship in college, where I learned how to play the piano and the saxophone. I am also a singer, and used to sing at church and in college, but lately it's been more just in the car and the shower
♡ I am horrible about keeping up with my Goodreads, so there are a TON more books on my TBR, which I try not to let overwhelm me, but it does. I want to read all the books!!
♡ I taught myself how to read when I was four, learning on a very old copy of Disney's Cinderella that I do still own
♡ Books are truly my passion and my escape
