Fallback Friday: Heart of the Ocean

Happy Black Friday!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday! Mine was laid back, full of laughter, with tons of pumpkin pie, so I am happy!  No Black Friday shopping for me, but I've been getting my house decorated for the holidays, and feeling nostalgic.

It was in a moment of nostalgia that I had an idea that I thought I would wait and start in 2020, but it's close enough to the new year so I'm going to start it now. Starting today I am going to have my own version of Fallback Friday, and link up one of my older reviews! So many of my reviews have been forgotten, and it's time to show off some of my faves!

Fallback Friday is kicking off with one of my all-time favorite books by Heather B. Moore, Heart of the Ocean. This was one of the very first reviews I ever published, and you can tell that I have grown in my writing skills quite a bit since 2016, but it still conveys my love for this narrative, and I'd love for you to read it and stroll down memory lane with me.
You can find my original post and review HERE, and comment below if you've done any shopping today and if so what Black Friday deals you were able to get.  I always love hearing what deals people get and admire anyone that is brave enough to get out in all that craziness.  I myself am a procrastinator, so I'm sure I won't be getting any Christmas shopping done for at least another few weeks.  It's a sickness...
