 Troy Allen hasn’t heard from Cecilee since she left without an explanation or a goodbye.  So, when he finds out his name is mixed with hers in a multi-million-dollar murder mystery, his pride takes a backseat to his curiosity.  In this conclusion to the Strawberry Lake Estates series, Troy and Cecilee must work together.  They join the quirky residents of Walden, Montana to wade through a mixture of new threats and old feelings, finding that, even with their lives in jeopardy, love may turn out to be better the second time around.

In For the Love of Funyuns and Second Chances, we are coming back to Walden, where the Strawberry Lake Estates mystery continues.  You meet a few new residents to add to this quirky little community, and the reader finds out more pieces to this complex puzzle, which made for another entertaining read!  If you haven't read the first two books in the series have no fear!  The author does an incredible job of explaining the events that have previously occurred in the series that have brought you to this point, so you never feel lost, and means that this can be read as a standalone.

The chemistry between Troy and Cecilee is magnetic, palpable from the first words spoken.  They are both such sweet characters that truly belong together.  The world building and characterization is engrossing, which is something Crissy Sharp does a masterful job on.

As far as the mystery, I caught on pretty quick to who was behind all the scheming, but reading the outcome was still enjoyable.  Another wonderful addition to a great series!
