I don't know about you, but this month is flying by at lightning speed, and I am doing everything I can to keep everything straight. I can't believe we are mere days away from Christmas! Sadly, I am not on my game as much as I was last year, and part of the reason is I can't seem to get my nose out of books! I don't know what it is about this year that I crave reading so much but it seems like that's just another holiday quirk for me. What that means is more reviews the end the year like the one I'm sharing today!

My Review

I picked up this novel expecting to only read a few chapters one evening, but I ended up getting hooked and practically stayed up all night to read it. That’s when you know you’ve got a winner, and I fell hard for Line of Fire.

This novel truly takes you all over the world, from New York City to Australia, and shows you the world from different perspectives. There are a lot of moving parts going on in this novel, but the writing is so effortlessly done that it’s not hard to keep up with. The action is fire from the start, and the tension increases the deeper you dive into the narrative. In one word, this novel is intense in the best way possible. The writing is almost effortless, and the world building is unmatched. When you pick this novel up, be prepared to be reading for a while, as it’s almost impossible to put down. The intense suspense paired with the mystery behind all of the shady business going on made for an immensely entertaining read.

Now I am impatiently anticipating the next novel in the series. The author has created an absorbing world with characters that you love (and love to hate), and I am immensely invested in what happens next.
