MY REVIEW

A Divine Love has been a series with such heart.  Friendship and relationship goals abound, but there is still a truth on the pages, not only in the groups shared faith, but in their circumstances.

Up to this point in the series there isn’t much known about Elizabeth, with the exception of a few surface-level details, and seeing how immensely wise and supportive of a friend she has been to Anna and Gina over the years, so I was excited to see her get her own story.  I have felt protective of this trio, so when Tyler shows up on the scene, seeing how Elizabeth acts when she sees him triggered me, and put my feelers on high alert.  To my utter shock Tyler won me over, and suddenly the tables turned, and I found myself fighting to sympathize with Elizabeth, especially with Tyler repeatedly showing that he’s changed in the ten years since he’s last seen her.

I am a no spoilers kind of gal, so fast forward to the satisfying ending that was so stinking sweet, and left me with a goofy smile on my face, but not for the reason you’d think.  There is a charming little twist that I adored so much and made Tyler and Elizabeth’s story all the sweeter.

There are quite a few adult topics that are discussed, but there is nothing immensely descriptive and adds so much depth to these beloved characters.  “Hope and faith is all you need,” and I would add close friendships should also be on that list.  If you’re lucky enough to have an immensely supportive circle of friends around you when things get tough, then you can truly make it through the toughest of trials, and Love Reunited shows that in the most poetic way.

I love this series so much, and not just because of the great characters.  Tarpon Springs, the Floridian setting of this series, just happens to be the home of two of my favorite people on the planet, so every time there is a landmark mentioned I get all the feels.  It’s definitely the cherry on top of a wonderful read.

My Rating: ★★★★★
