Can a little girl, a broken stained-glass window, and a little faith help Noah and Raelynn find happiness?

Noah’s faith is shaken. Recent setbacks leave him drowning in loneliness and despair. His failed marriage. A career in ruins. Financial uncertainty. Even his adorable daughter Sofie can’t pull him out of his misery. He longs for his old life back. What kind of future can this single dad build from nothing?

Raelynn longs for a family of her own and a happiness she’s never been able to find. She loves teaching and moves to Paradise Springs to build a new future. Her kindergarteners light up her life, and a little blonde angel named Sofie captures her heart. Unfortunately, Rae gets off on the wrong foot with Sofie’s handsome dad.

When Noah and Rae are brought together on a common goal—restore a 100-year-old stained-glass window at Rae’s church—they discover their attraction for each other and a desire to explore a relationship. But the school’s "no dating” policy between parents and teachers and the reappearance of Noah’s ex-wife present unforeseen obstacles.

Are these just bumps in the road, or will these obstacles destroy a chance for their happiness and a future together?

My Review 🖤

From the moment I began this story I was smitten.  A Time for Faith is a sweet story of a man who's priorities go right side up when his life gets turned upside down, and the delightful teacher who teaches his daughter, and himself, some valuable lessons.

Leah Busboom has a great talent for bringing her characters to life, showing their flaws, while also opening their eyes, and the readers eyes, to sound truth.  The endearing story of Noah and Rae made my heart pitter-patter, but what really made me swoon was seeing crotchety Frank and over-the-top June connect in a truly unconventional way, and seeing that true change can happen at any age.

Sophie was hands down my favorite character, and brought a youthful vibrance to the story that lit up the pages.  A story that is full of heart, and truly entertaining, I enjoyed every moment, and devoured every page.  With faith sprinkled throughout, I never felt like it was pushed on me, and yet the message was clear, showing that faith and love are verbs.  Rae's faith is admirable, with characteristics that I aspire to on a daily basis.

The "countdown" was such a pleasant and unique touch, and though the ending didn't have any twists or turns, and ended how I expected, I still put the book down with a goofy grin on my face, truly happy for these characters that I had grown to love.  I can honestly say I loved A Time for Faith more than chocolate milk. ;)
