My Review

Talk about a nonstop thrill ride! From the first sentence, you are submerged in an investigation that has lain dormant for a few years but is now sparking back to life, possibly due to the new deputy in town, Diana Fisher. Young Amish girls are being targeted, and Diana and her new friend Micah are incredibly close to the story. It’s a bizarre situation, to be sure, but both Diana and Micah are up for the challenge to get to the bottom of this horrific ordeal.

I breezed through this novel as the pace is steady and suspenseful. There is quite a bit of mystery and action, with a lot happening in an incredibly short amount of time. The fact that this novel felt familiar had me putting my guard down, which could be the reason the ending packed such a powerful punch.

The shock I felt when the killer’s identity was revealed was so shocking that I audibly gasped. I was completely blindsided, which is something I don’t often say when I’m reading an investigative story, especially a Love Inspired suspense.

This has to be one of my favorite Love Inspired Suspense novels to date. It’s the perfect blend of mystery, suspense, and heart that has a touch of love and a satisfying ending.
