About the Book
Can a Texas man wrangle the cowgirl who made him believe in second chances? Or will the wilds of Wyoming keep them apart?
Dallas Campbell expects her seasonal position as a dinner theater entertainer in Wyoming to end within weeks, but when she's given a full-time offer, she accepts. Still struggling with the loss of her husband and child, she's determined to forge a new future, sell her Texas home, and leave the past behind.
Gabe Langston has been a widower for two years and needs a new start with his daughter. He finds the perfect home with a history as big and wide as Texas and located near a ranch that will board his horses. Boxes hidden in his attic point to the ranch and the home’s mysterious prior owner, so he reaches out to her in Wyoming.
Dallas returns to Texas to investigate the contents in the hidden boxes. She plans to stay with her aunt for a few days and then head back to Wyoming. What she doesn't count on is a handsome cowboy and his sweet daughter interfering with those plans.
Determined to help Dallas work though her past, Gabe buckles in for what is sure to be a tough job. He’s up for the challenge, but can he convince the woman he’s falling for to extend her stay, permanently? Or will her new life in Wyoming keep them apart?
Finding You is a heartwarming, small-town Christian contemporary western romance and part of the Whispers in Wyoming series. All books in the series are standalone and can be read in any order.

Dallas is a woman who has lost everything and is looking to put all of the painful memories of her past behind her, move as far away as possible, and get a fresh start. Gabe and his young daughter Cindi also are looking for a new beginning, and end up purchasing Dallas’s old home for their own fresh start. When Gabe finds a hidden treasure in the attic that he’s sure is worth a lot of money he can’t help but call Dallas and offer to give her what is rightfully hers. What he ends up giving her is much more than any tangible treasure, as they both find what each is looking for in one another. Maybe the new beginning they’re both craving is right in front of them.
My heart instantly went out to Dallas, Gabe, and Cindi and all they had lost before the story truly begins. I cannot even begin to imagine the overwhelming loss that all of the main characters feel, but seeing them all strengthen one another is truly inspiring. Though a short read, the author does an incredible job of helping you connect with these characters, even if you’re not in their world for very long. It is very Hallmark-esque, with a cookie cutter feel, is unbelievably predictable, yet it’s quite enjoyable at the same time. I caught myself smiling more than once at Cindi’s childlike faith and the wit that comes from Dallas’s matchmaking aunt, and was sad to see it end.
I loved being apart of this world that oozes heart and charm, and is very character driven. I do wish there could’ve been a little less predictability, and maybe the narrative could’ve been aa tad longer, but other than that it was a joy to read.
