Is your life overwhelming you?

Do you struggle with believing for better in your future when all you see reminds you of your past? Do you find it difficult to find peace? Barbara has a word for you!

While seeking God about a circumstance in her life, with no warning, God addressed another issue in her life. Her past. God showed Barbara a visual picture analogy of her past being like a basement. A basement is where a homeowner places things they don’t need or have room for in their house, but over time, if not dealt with, a basement can become a place of cluttered defeat. If Barbara wanted a life of victory, God needed to help her clean out the clutter she had accumulated in her spiritual basement. Barbara documents this journey and shows you through the steps she learned from God how you too can live your life empowered and DECLUTTERED!

MY REVIEW

We all have literal clutter in our lives but I’ve never stopped to think about all the emotional clutter that is taking up precious space in my mind. Reading Declutter was very eye opening to me and made me ponder things I’ve never pondered before, and help me to look inside and see things for what they truly are.

Declutter is a roadmap to deal with mental clutter that many of us have stored in precious headspace, and it’s time to dust off those cobwebs, and face these issues, so that we can purge ourselves of unnecessary baggage, and free our minds to focus on better.

This was a very inspirational read and is the perfect aid to your spiritual journey. I like that the author spoke very candidly about her own personal baggage, but added notes at the end of each chapter to help with further guidance. It is written in simple language, which makes it easy to comprehend, but I felt at times it was almost too simplistic, almost elementary, which was distracting, but don’t let that deter you. You can sense the author’s heart through the pages, and her message is clear: it’s time to get your spiritual and emotional house in order, and with God, this is possible!
My Rating: ★★★
