My Review

Stormsurge is a sweet novella that is well written and and a fun, quick read.  Lacey and Gene have a wonderful chemistry, though I hated how they both were so much in their heads.  The storm gave the reader just enough suspense, my favorite part of the book being when Lacey and Gene are locked in bathroom while a tornado rips through Shepherville, and they share their first kiss.  I do feel like there could've been a little more depth and the ending left me wanting more but all in all I though this was a cute story.

The story is well written and you can feel the struggle between holding onto the past and embracing the future.  Though it wasn't my favorite of the trio, I still enjoyed the read and fell in love at the end.
Double or Nothing was hands down my favorite of the three.  Twins that switch places and chaos ensues?  Um, yes!  Ellie is the twin that has her life together and Eve is the irresponsible twin that always needs her responsible twins help getting out of trouble.  Eve breaks up with her horrible boyfriend at her job, creating a major scene with major drama.  She is afraid she's going to lose her job so she asks Ellie to take her place while she goes to a yoga retreat to get her mind straight.  Ellie takes Eve's place at work and immediately there is chemistry between Ellie and Eve's boss, Grant.

I fell in love with every character in this story, and loved the plot.  You feel the tension, constantly wondering if Ellie is going to get caught, and if her and Grant are ever going to make their feelings known.

The flow of the novella is wonderful, making it a quick and enjoyable read.  Ellie and Grant are wonderful characters, and the story as a whole is very well written.

The Shepherdsville Boxed Set is a great anthology of clean and wholesome romance that is enjoyable and quick, fun reads.  Shawna Lynn Brooks is a wonderful writer, you will not be disappointed.
