Synopsis

Felicity Miner is not normally an anxious person, and she’s been on her own since high school. But after a shoplifter steals from her bookshop, she calls the cops. When Officer Leo Russo shows up, Felicity has to tell herself that just because the romance novel she’s been reading has a hero police officer doesn’t mean she needs to project her imagination onto the real man. Yes, Officer Russo is unexpectedly generous, and he helps make Felicity’s home more secure when her worries won’t settle down. But the more Felicity is around Officer Russo, the more she imagines a future between them. Is he merely doing his duty, protecting and serving the citizens of Pine Valley, or is there potential for something more?

My Review

From the first page you fall in love with Felicity and Leo. Even though Felicity has sworn off relationships her whole life, and you see her immediately struggling with her feelings for Leo, you find yourself rooting for this sweet couple. Leo is a genuinely good guy that truly cares for Felicity which is sweet in and of itself but then he's a cop to boot?! Swoon!! How can Felicity NOT fall in love??

What I have enjoyed about the Pine Valley series so far is that each novel does well as standalone read but it is also neat reading them in order. You see characters from previous books pop up in a few scenes here and there and it really brings that sense of Pine Valley community to the story.

Like the other books in the series, this is a well written, clean, quick read. The characters are smart, relatable, and have depth. This is not one of those romance novels where everything and everyone is perfect. Both Leo and Felicity are faced with issues that many of us have faced at one time or another, and seeing how they handle each situation make you fall in love with these characters even more. I love that Leo and Felicity found each other and I know that you will love Finding Us too!
