10.05 #FavoriteAuthors
Who are your favorite authors?
I have quite a few authors on my favorite list but my current favorites include Heather B. Moore, Kim Koby, Terri Blackstock, Debbie Macomber, and Jane Kirkpatrick.
10.06 #UnderratedBooks
Share a book that deserves more attention
When I read this challenge I knew exactly what book I would choose that deserves more attention: Condemn Me Not by Heather B. Moore.
This book captivated me from the beginning (you can read my full review here) but what makes it all the more amazing is that Moore is taking from the life of her 10th great-grandmother. How incredible is that??
10.08 #LoveableVillains
Share a villain who is too lovable to hate
I have to admit that this challenge stumped me. I tried to think of a true literary villain and came up empty. If I really wanted to stretch it I would say several of the characters in The Prisoner in the Castle by Susan Elia MacNeal had that villain feel and throughout the book you are on a rollercoaster of sympathy, annoyance, and hatred.
As you know I am a faithful follower of Clean Wholesome Romance and am always checking out the daily deals that are posted. Kathy posted a 99 cent deal not too long ago for Small Town Hero by Kim Koby. I am pretty picky about my purchases but the premise was charming so I decided to give it a try.
I am SO glad I did! I read the entire book the same day I purchased it and will be reading the rest of the books in the series. It is so sweet and I love Kim's writing style. It's clean and flows and the story itself was just charming. You will be seeing a full review later on this month.
Shelley Shepard Gray has several books coming out in early 2019 and I cannot wait! I love Amish fiction and Shelley is one of my favorite Amish fiction authors. All In and Friends to the End are already on my to-be-read list. :)
That concludes the Fall Into Books 2018 Reading Challenge! I cannot wait to start the next challenge in November!!
