SYNAPSIS

Life can change in an instant.

“He died at the scene.”

“It’s malignant.”

"I want a divorce.”

Certain words, whether whispered or shouted, once uttered, severs us from the life we once knew. Such words can send us into a spiritual free fall, descending into a world we never wanted to enter.

Often times, words meant to comfort can feel empty. Hope seems out of our reach when loss, grief, and depression tries to smother our faith.

FreeFall reminds us the God we serve gave us the tools to survive our darkest hours. Then equips us to hold onto our faith by laying out a clear course of action to regain purpose and meaning within a life we can’t imagine living.

My Review 💛
We've all had those moments in life where time ceases to exist. The breath is knocked out of you, and life as you once knew is gone in an instant. It could be an accident, a diagnosis, even a word. For Rhonda Robinson it was a phone call and sadly it was for me too. No, my phone call wasn't the same as what Rhonda experienced, but it was still a moment suspended in time. One scream in the quiet of the night. I can still feel that shattering moment and, even though it's been 30 years, it still brings tears to my eyes.

FreeFall is so much more than a guide to help with grief. This tome delves so much deeper, touching anyone that has experienced those life shattering moments.

Reading Rhonda's story was so raw and deep that I felt physical pain in my heart reading about what she's had to endure. I have two boys of my own and I cannot even begin to imagine losing either one of them at such a young age.

What inspires me and that Rhonda is using this life shattering moment to help others in their grief, despite what has caused it, and helps guide them to finding their new identity with the only One who can really help you truly pick up the pieces. Rhonda knows where her hope lies, and she wants you to know as well.

You can feel the emotion on every page, knowing that the author is sharing her heart, which is resplendent. This is a must-read for anyone who is dealing with any for of grief or hopelessness of any kind. FreeFall is the perfect reminder that there is always hope, you just have to know where to look.
My Rating: ★★★

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Rhonda Robinson spent years writing parenting columns and articles, nevertheless, her debut book, "FreeFall: Holding Onto Faith When The Unthinkable Strikes," is the book she never wanted to write. After the death of her youngest son, and years struggling to survive the grief, Rhonda chose not to allow life's circumstances to define the course of her life, but to use them to refine her soul. Now, "FreeFall" helps others face a world they don't want to live in.

Rhonda teaches women how to transform the darkness into a season of profound change and emerge with vision and purpose. Through biblically-based spiritual wisdom, Rhonda leads readers to discover the life they were designed to live.

You can find Rhonda deep in the peaceful hills of Tennessee, where she restores her barefoot soul with her high school sweetheart. You can reach her at Rhonda@RhondaRobinson.tv
