My Review ♥️

A murder mystery that grips you from the get go, Ever Told grabs on tight and doesn't let go.  Jumping from the day of the murders to the past and future, and with multiple characters at play, this mystery can get a tad confusing at the beginning, but once you get your bearings it becomes more clear.  Just when you think you know who did it, another answer comes to light and makes you second guess, and the truth completely blew me away.  I had an inkling about who performed the murders, but figured there was no way I could be right, but how the author was able to spin it left me saying wow over and over.  I was actually half right but even partially knowing I was still left stunned at the outcome.

For a debut novel, this book blew me away.  Well written, with the perfect tempo and length, this book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time, and I actually ended up reading it in its entirety in one afternoon.  The world building and characterization was authentic and true to life, making the scenario all the more sinister.

Incredible thriller, and a promising start to a writing career for Benjamin Bremasi.  He has an instant fan with me and I am anxious to read his next book!

My Rating: ★★★★
