I hope you all had a fantastic Mother's Day weekend. Mine was amazing and exactly what I needed. My oldest son stayed with me for the weekend, and I got spoiled with quality time, gifts, and some delicious goodies. I could not ask for more to celebrate not only Mother's Day but my 45th birthday. Now it's on to marathon cleaning and packing as we are gearing up to put our house on the market! As you can tell, I haven't had a lot of down time to read, but I literally lost sleep reading the novel that I am featuring today and have zero regrets.

Not only is today the last day of October, it is also the eve of my little sister's wedding! I cannot believe how quickly this engagement time has gone by! While you're reading this, I will be in a hurried flurry of activity as I will be in full-on matron-of-honor mode. While I am lost in the craziness, and most likely a mild candy coma, I also plan to be in the moment and cherish every second of this weekend. I recently was able to start the latest series from one of my most beloved authors, Rose Fresquez, and while the series still has one installment that will be published in the near future, I couldn't wait to share my thoughts on the first two books, which I am eagerly sharing today.
